Hello USSMA Members,
I wanted to let you know that there is someone actively in a marketing position for the USSMA. I am exploring and seeking sponsors and supporters for the ongoing success of the USSMA. In the past we have depended on Hobby related support and that in many cases has been wonderful. However; in light of the economy, we need now to step out of the box and look at other possible support aviation related markets. If anyone has a lead on a potential sponsor or contributor, I will follow up immediately, and do my level best to accomplish a joint partnership between the USSMA and the new sponsor for the upcoming Championship Series. I don't plan to run solo but with you alongside so we both can show uniformity and strength as an organization.
I have a lot of ideas I want to discuss with our members and the USSMA board. My first objective is to make the USSMA more visible with a newer fresher website, a newsletter each month in your email box, and some advertising in magazines for exchange ads. Visibility and value added will make us more attractive to new members and supporters.
Hopefully further down the road when you tell someone your an USSMA Member they will be aware of what your talking about, hopefully ask you how to become a member or become involved.
