Title: 1-Day Starter Scale Contest, SVF Flying Site, PHX, AZ

This is a teaching event hosted by the Sun Valley Fliers for the new Pro/Am Sportsman class for newcomers to scale competition who have not previously flown in Expert, Team, or Advanced USSMA classes and have not placed 1st, 2nd, or 3rd in any judged scale flying contest.

Cash prizes for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd places from entry fees after expenses.  Entry fee: $20

Couldn't find anything about the scale competition coming up at the SVF field.

Sounds like a great event. I wish I could be a part of it. Unfort. it is the same day as the SWRA race down in Tucson. Hopefully I can come to the next one. Should be a lot of fun.
