Title: Scale Masters championship

Thanks again to Mitch for his coverage of this event. Thanks also to the workers and pilots.
There will be a lot to talk in the coming days.  This appears to be a coming pivotal year for all of us. I know that many of you have not commented very much especially the old timers that should now take a leading part in helping our leadership make choices to improve the entire program. As I sit here typing this I can only think it must be me. In my previous post I try to point out things we may do and ask others to comment also to improve our status in the RC world and boost our numbers and I asked people to contact the officers. Even if I am wrong with my ideas I see thousands of hits with hardly a comment I can only feel it must be me that is wrong and people see me as an old nut case.   Thanks so much to all of you as this is your Scale  Masters. Harris Lee asked me many years ago to watch things for me and I did not know why until a short time later. I can only say at this time I am overwhelmed  and ask for everyone to help Harris.and yourselves   Mel

Hello Mel and All,
Thanks Mel for your comments and concerns which are not unfounded.
The SM program is the only one that truly reaches out to Scale Aero-Modellers all across the country in both United States and Canada through the Qualifier program.
People support the program through participating at the event as pilots, judges and volunteers along with the Area Coordinators, Contest Directors and host clubs. These people are the ones who are keeping the program alive.
I for one applaud you all, hopefully Scale Masters is recognizing you for the huge effort you all put forward at each of your events.
Thanks to Mitch for providing the majority of feedback to those who support the program.
I believe the Harris Lee dream will continue as the program is too good to die - due to people like yourself Mel.
Hopefully we will see some renewed enthusiasm in 2015 that will provide support for all the volunteers, pilots and judges that are in the trenches making the program work.
Best Regards,
                         Roly
