Who would come to a qualifier in Baton Rouge, Louisiana?

I would not judge participation to an event on response from this site.  Posting the question on a site like rcscalebuilder.com might show more.  Not that I am a fan of rcuniverse or rcgroups, they also might give a better feel for who might attend.  Also get with your AMA district and get contacts for clubs and poll them.

Our Texas Scale Championships will be June 8=9,2013
You could call yours Louisiana Scale Championships it could generate a lot of Louisiana interest

As to getting a new event started, always start with your friends then your club and all clubs in the near area. For me that starts at 20 miles to 320 miles one way from where the event is going to be.A good info location is always the AMA web site for clubs in your district.  As Lawrence has said Texas could be a source for pilots and a person to go to for help.
